I just added to my pile of joysticksby winning the following auction
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6133036349
13 old joysticks - do you think my panel will look funny with that many? Sorry Spiffyshoes I just had to have these. ;D

Wow, looks like a good score. You seem to have half a dozen Wico 4 way leaf switch joys. If they are then you got a great price. Clean them up and resell them you should get some good money.

very nice....why can't I ever find these good deals on Ebay ???
-
I spotted one that is FOR SURE 4-way, and six that are certainly 8-way, the others might go either way.
Put together the absolute best units from all the parts for your own use. Kill 2 more of them for spare switches and grommets, and then relist the remains on ebay.

What would I do? I would give them to me ;D
Just lemme know how you're gonna ship 'em :P

Yeah I got lucky and spotted the auction first thing in the morning, and had many agonizing hours to wait before it ended. I watched it like a hawk hoping the price didn't go too high. After I'd actually won, I was so excited I had to tell someone who would understand - funny my wife doesn't seem to get as excited as me when I win something like that. It was actually one of the few auctions that really got my heart racing twords the end. I cant' wait to get them to see how well they will clean up, and which ones are still useable. Thank you for all the secret "You suck" replys ;D

Nice deal.
I need to track down a blue Wico for my Xmen cab. If you wanna sell it, let me know.

Well I finnally received these yesterday and current count is 7 - 4 ways and 6 - 8 ways, all with the grommets. I also have 4 more 8 way wicos from a different auction, bringing the grand total to 17. I still need to clean them up, but so far most of them seem to be in decent shape there are only a few that are truely questionable. I want to replace some of the grommets what type of rubber were they made from?
