I have a monitor out of an old Namco cabinet (was Pac-Man at one point, but converted to Galaga3).
I THINK it still works. The game itself wasn't working, but the tube at the back of the monitor was glowing when powered.
Anyway, I don't know what to do with it and I'm not comfortable discharging it - so anyone who is willing to come pick it up, it's yours.
thanks!

Pity, real arcade monitors are the way to go. I'd pick it up...but it'd be a heck of a drive for me!

Yeah, it would be different if I had any idea how wire these things up. My know-how pretty much leaves me with tv or computer monitor as options.
Plus, I plan to do quite a bit of console emulation - so the tv format will be fine.

Everyone has to start somewhere. I only wired my first arcade monitor a few months ago.
Consoles would look killer on an arcade monitor. Well, depending on the console, of course.

Will you ship it? And or pull the chassis and ship that?

Can you see any burn on it? I will be in Columbus this weekend and could probably pick it up. Please email me at wadelanham@hotmail.com.
Thanks,
