... is out ... :)

Woohoo! 3 more games supported and 300 more mhz needed to run Ms. Pac-Man!

You know, it's sad that for .88 I need to turn off triple buffer and drop the sample rate to 22khz to play area 51..
And this is on a 2.8 1GB P4 system.
I'm about to join the older version on mame in the cab club.

We need to start keeping a record of drivers / versions that the speeds drop (and what they gain for the speed decrease).
I run a few versions of mame on my cabinet. But mainly for analog+ mame which I also use for some games just because of the version.
But it would be nice to keep a list.
I also want to have a project to have a standard computer rate all games based on the average fps while playing... So people can start trying games and know what games above / below they should be able to play on their system...

I also have a P4 2.8 in my cab - overkill many say but I got it for this very reason. I'd seen games becoming slower on my 1.4AMD and wanted to make sure the same wouldn't happen on my cab (for a good while at least).
I don't care for any CHD though, and since most of the 3D games' emulation is incomplete I don't much care for those either.

Do all the CHD's have frameskipping/incomplete problems? Wonder if it's worth the download...gotta love Simpsons Bowling..

Soon the Ms. Pac-Man emulation will be SO ACCURATE that it will be no longer possible to run it on any computers available. It will be THAT accurate. :police:
