I have looked at the main Daphne home page about this and it references the documentation section that does not seem to have my answer. I have done several searches on this forum and don't seem to be able to find the answer either.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me the minimum system specs to run Daphne, specifically Dragon's Lair, successfully? What systems are people running it on with good results and what systems have people run it on with poor performance.
Thanks,
Brian

AMD XP1.6 runs it perfectly.

I know this is answered on their FAQ page, but it keeps timing out so I can't link to it. I've had it running on a PIII-533Mhz w/512 MB, so if you have something like that you should be ok. Also, it runs best on W2K/WXP or Linux machines. I don't know that it can't work on W98 machines, but I believe there are problems.

if you can play a DVD on your machine you can play Daphne , Daphne may add a little bit more overhead in that it plays with the sound a bit ( ogg ) , but so does DVD software ( ac3 ) the only catch is the emulation of the ROM , and that's really not allot of CPU power as the ROM is not involved in sound or video , the 2 bigest CPU hogs.
generally Daphne just plays a mpeg and takes it's cues from the ROM on where to skip in that mpeg .. nothing major really.
