Title: "NEW" won't go away anymore

Used to be if I clicked "BACK", the forum page would refresh itself and the thread I just viewed would no longer show a "NEW" icon next to it. Now, it still shows the icon. I have to manually refresh the page in order to make it go away. Why is this?

This is an option in the forum to allow the browser to completely pull from cache on the page. It's primarily there to reduce some bandwidth so users don't have to pull a page each time they go back and forth. I don't see much use for this, so I'll disable it and see how we go.
