Title: Missing parts on Wells-Gardner 19K4616.
Post by: Witchboard on November 23, 2004, 04:12:23 pm
I'm missing what I think I've identified as the detail Interface Board and another board I'm not sure what it is.  They both plug in side by side on the main board.  Why would anyone take these boards and leave the rest?  The neckboard is cracked into about 4 peices, but I can fix that.   Does anyone know where I can find a replacement to these missing parts, and maybe a manual?  I checked Mike's Arcade and it seems to skip my model number.  Thanks.

i've seen those alot without their daughterboards--i guess people just pull them from non working chassis and throw them into other ones--i see them come up on ebay from time to time--ken would be able to tell which 2 boards you need i trust.  there is also a section in the FAQ on how to wire the daughterboards for when you come to that bridge.

Use the 4600 manual at mikesarcade.com as your monitor is part of the 4600 series. The last page of the 4600 manual shows the locations of the plug-in boards and adjustments.

There are actually three plug-in circuit boards on the 4600 series. From the rear view, all the way to the far left of the main board is the power regulator plug-in board. Towards the right of the board are TWO plug-in boards: the farthest right is the "hor/ver" deflection board (also called the "X/Y" board). Now to the left of that board is the "Interface Board" which is where your color video and sync signals from the gameboard go to. The Interface board usually has a paper label on the parts side with a number like P305, P317, P318, etc on it.

These boards do show up on ebay alot.

Check out ebay item number 6133523679 which is 6 boards (3 video interface and 3 hor/vert) for the 4600. This would be exactly what you need plus you'd have some spares. :)

I see that the ones in that auction I mentioned have been bought already.

I bought them.  I asked about the description where it said that the BIN was $2 a board since the BIN price was double that.  He said the description was a mistake, so I went ahead and did BIN anyway.  Got more than I need, but never know when I may need them again.  I can always offer them up for somebody else who may need one... unlike SOME people.  ;)  For future reference, was the BIN too high?
