Title: Viewtiful Joe2 Demo Deletes Game Saves!

I got an e-mail from Sony and Capcom stating that the Viewtiful Joe 2 demo for PS2 will delete all the game saves form your memory Card. :o

I personally did not check the link.  I got it from another site.  I'll edit and post the link from my personal e-mail which takes you to the SCEA contact us page.  However over at cheapassgamer.com there are quite a number of pissed people who've lost entire memory card saves.  I doubt this is fake.  Check out other game sites such as ign, gamefaqs and others.  All have noted this.  All I know is I'm glad I  haven't gotten this demo disc yet.

I guess so.  I took off the codes at the end and the domain went to an internet marketing company.

Better safe then sorry with your memory card however.

Thanks for the heads up!  I have lots of demo dvds (from playstation magazine) and never thought about a bug possibly erasing my memory card(s).   I'll keep an eye out for VJ2.

I think I'm going to make it a habit to always remove my memory cards when using these demo discs as demos don't normally have save game options anyway.  Better safe than sorry!
