Title: 25" Bezel needed urgently - UK
Post by: ras2a on November 20, 2004, 02:37:58 pm
I've been looking into making a cardboard (aka Tailgaunner) bezel, but I just have visions of it turning out completely crapolla.  Don't get me wrong, Tailgunner's and other peep's Bezel's look absolutely bloody SUPERB...I just think if I were to attempt it, I'd make a botch of it.  So....I was wondering if anyone out there has a 25" Bezel (black) that I could purchase?  I'm in the UK.

I'll be using it to cover a 25" Panasonic TV.  The 'actual' dimensions of the 'visible' screen area on the TV are: 19" & 2/8" (WIDTH) -- 14.5" (HEIGHT).

PM me if you think you may have something that could work...

thanks a lot folks :)

Craig

I used a piece of "project foam board" I picked up at an art store.

All I did was trim it to fit and cut the right size hole in it. Looks great and was cheap and way easy to work with too.

I've sourced some 'mounting board' (art store), but it's not big enough to span the 'height' of my opening (where the tv is).  I, like yourself, want to simply stick a big piece of card in there and just cut the appropriate sized hole for the screen.  But like I say the card is not big enough.  I'll have to have a look around to see if I can find summat else.

What I got was this deal thats supposed to unfold for displays and whatnot... the center section was way big enough for my cab, and I had extra for other projects!
