Title: Large VGA Monitor alternatives ( Like Philips PS1127 ) ?
Post by: farmecologist on November 15, 2004, 03:10:05 pm
Hi all,

Does anyone know if the Philips PS1127 TV-Monitor is still available anywhere?  I found this thread on it but the reference it listed doesn't have any in stock:

Are there any alternatives?

Thanks!

There are two 31" Gateway Destination VGA monitors on ebay.  Should go for around $100 (+$150 shipping) comes out to about the same price as the philips.

Hey thanks!

That said, is there anyone out there that has used one of these ( or similar ) in an arcade cabinet?  It looks like a good way to get a LARGE screen into a cabinet...if you are not concerned about getting 100% authentic visuals via an arcade monitor.

Thanks!

I have a 36" Gateway Destination monitor.  I still haven't built the showcase pedestal cabinet around it yet, but plays nice with xbox. dc and gamecube at 480P.  ;)
