Title: Learning Illustrator; First CPO Try
Post by: DonDrimeXm8 on November 15, 2004, 01:08:09 pm
I've been playing around with Illustrator for a few days now with the help of  Frosty's tutorial and the Arcade Art Library (a lot of due gratitude to both) and now I have my first designed CPO (though none of the art is original).   Any comments or advice?

It's going on a Sega Aerocity cab replacing the Street Fighter panel that was thrown on.

WOW!  That looks great, really clean & sharp :)

My only complaint would be that the Sega logo isn't visible enough.  Perhaps make it a bit smaller so the first S and A are more visible ?

you failed to scale the line weight on the sega logo as you expanded it up, so it looks weird.

I've detailed how to scale line weight in Illustrator in the past. If you search, you may be able to find it.

Thanks!  How is this (resized logo with scaled line weight)?
