Title: WTB: 9-10" VGA/SVGA CRT/POS MONITOR(S)
Post by: SteveJ34 on November 14, 2004, 06:48:21 pm
I'm looking for small Color CRT monitors for bartop projects.

These are typically found in POS terminal setups because of there small size.

Anyone per chance have one or more of these collecting dust somewhere or know of a resource (other than eBay) for locating a couple of these in the used/surplus market?

I was going to use 14-15s but I'd like to use a smaller form factor if I can locate a couple.

I look forward to any and all replies.

I have a POS monitor and I have used them for table tops in teh past.  They work great.  They are heavier than you think so the shipping would prolly be a little higher, unless your local to S.E. Michigan.

Have anything you'd like to trade?

I'm open to offers

If this is 10" VGA/SVGA Color I'm interested. What's the manufacturer/Model?

Items to trade, off the top of my head....

1. New Open Box, Netvista Case, MicroATX form factor, 95W power supply (I purchased this for a project that is on the back burner)

2.  17" NEC monitor,  Nice, No case discoloration

3.  Several 14-15" monitors....all good shape, no case discoloration

I'm sure there are other things around here that may be of interest, any ideas of something you may be looking for or need for a project?

you mayhave to wait till tomorrow for the details on it, but it is color 10" SVGA.  I belive its a viewmagic, but dont quote me on it.  Have to check when i get home late tonight.  I usually use it in 800 X 600 mode but i believe it goes higher than that as well...surprizingly for such a small monitor.

Is the micro ATX just teh Power supply or the whole Mobo w/ power supply?

I'd take a trade for a different monitor...the 17 inch sounds good.  Shipping is gonna be killer though for that id assume.

I'll get back with the details by tommorrow.

Id also be interested in any of the following:

Buttons -- blue only
2 1/4" trackball
laptop harddrive
keyboard encoders (ipac any kind, keywiz)

I'm familiar with Viewmagic 10" monitors.....that'll work.

Netvista is just bare case with PS.

I'm open to swap 17" NEC for the 10" Viewmagic assuming its working and in good shape.with straight up shipping, even trade, you ship me 10", I ship you 17".

Feel free to reply here or PM so we can haggle/work out details.

I look forward to your reply.
