Great job! That's actually what I wanted to do with mine except I don't have the equipment (or know-how). :( How much did the paint cost, though?
-
A life-sized picture of yourself as sideart! Now I never thought of that! Did you get it printed at Kinko's? ;P
hehe, j/k... nice job.
-
That is crazy... You can probably get away with laminating the sideart to match the gloss...
-
Hose it down in the driveway... a coat of wax... and it's ready to go. Nice job :o
-
Actually paint cost seemed to keep getting more and more out of hand, the paint and reducer itself was about $45, the clear coat, primer, hardener etc... ran the total to over $100 which was way more than I had planned for.

all you need now is a cup holder, air freshener and rear mirror... haaa haaa haaa.... ;) ;D
ohh.... how about some turbo guage on the left side ?!?!...
btw... VERY NICE paint job !!!.... I was thinking why using a standing guy as artwork when I first looked at it... hee hee...
-
With that paint...I think you should go with chrome t-molding...
-
I agree, chrome t-molding would be off the hook!

there was this cheezy (I believe intentional - not accidental) ebay auction where this guy was selling an aluminum teapot. Of course the teapot was reflective so you can see a reflection of the person taking the picture. The seller/picture taker was some naked guy.
It was mildly amusing incident, I guess.
