My new jukebox software has now been released. I decided to write my own software since I just could not find available jukebox software which met my needs.
I decided to provide the software for FREE as a way of thanking everyone from the BYOAC who helped me with my two arcade cabinets over the past few years.
Just in time for the Holidays .......
Please obtain the latest jukebox version at my site:
http://unclet.arcadecontrols.com/Jukebox
Some of the features include:
- Plays video and audio files
- Display album art for each album in the library
- Display 1, 4, 9 or 16 album covers per page
- Create individual song playlists (My Favorites, Mom's Music, etc..)
- Display song lyrics for all songs
- Touch Screen monitors supported
- Interface via arcade controls by assigning your required key mappings
- View song tracks which are currently in the queue waiting to be played
- Randomly play songs from a selected genre only
- Randomly play songs from Top10, Top25, Top50 or Top100 lists
- Search for songs by Artist, by Album or by Song Track name
- Special features such as "Party Lock" and "Attract Mode" provided
- Sort collection by Artist name or Album name
** It is assumed the user has Windows Media V9.0 installed (along with all appropriate codecs required) as well as having a monitor display of 1024x768 or greater.
I am working on providing a message Forum for this software as well. I will let you know if this becomes available in the near future.

Thanks for all the help Saint !
I hope your members enjoy this application.......

Hmmm, has a real windows feel.

paigeoliver: Is that a good thing?

No, not really. It would be a zillion times more cabinet friendly if it did not look like a windows application.
Just making it go fullscreen and at least changing the default grey ui elements to something not grey would go a long way.
-
You can make it go full screen by clicking on the maximum control button of the window and you can set colors/pictures to just about any button/background offered by going into the "Display\Skins" option.
You can even set an option to default the application to start in full screen mode as well....
-
Oh, then for goodness sakes post some pictures of it looking like THAT!
-
Ok, I will try to spend some time in thenear future creating a skin or two which I could distribute with the application. Just wanted to try to get the application done before the holidays.......

I had the same thoughts, to give my .02
I downloaded the program right away because it sure sounds great and has all the functions I would want!! But the was disappointed to see it was a windows looking program. Take the boxs in the top right corner out, hide the XP task bar. And some big ol fonts and it will run on my cab's TV.

I added some photos to the website showing some skins which were not the Default "gray" color.
I think I will add some better ones later tonight....
Also, if you go into full screen by clicking on the maximum button then the title bar disappears ..... check out the new photos on the site ..... no title bar anymore. You can set the option to have the jukebox start in full screen mode if you want.
As for the buttons, which buttons do you want to hide? Do you mean the buttons on the title bar? Or do you mean two two buttons on the upper right of screen when you go into full screen mode? I could always add an option to hide those two buttons while in full screen mode. This would mean in order to exit the application, as well as returning from full screen mode back to a "windows" mode, would only be possible via the key mapping settings for those two events. Is that what you would like?
PS: How about we move this discussion to the "UncleT's Jukebox" Forum if you don't mind so everyone can benefit from this conversation. Simply let me know what you want .....

Waiting for you reply in the forum ..... thanks
