I modified my bootup screen to be MAME themed with the Bootskin program (which is GREAT for this sort of thing, very easy).
I am currently using tweakUI for windows xp to remove the login screen and startup automatically, but it still shows a blue screen with the words "welcome" in white.
And when I shutdown, I get the "windows is saving your settings" screen.
Is there anyway to disable these? I want to make my cab less windowsy!

Check that out, it should have what you need. While we are on the subject, I've been searching for a way to remove the brief flash that appears when a user automatically logs into Win2k. Any clues on how to get rid of that? It reallly is the only thing that I neeed to remove to hide windows completely.
Any help is appreciated, Fred.

I've recently played around with changing the bootscreens etc on my machine and I have found "Style XP" does the best job. The Bootskin program never worked on my machine for some reason, must be incompatability with the Intel Motherboard I'm using. With Style XP you can easily change the Boot screen, logon screen, themes etc... all from the one program.
