Title: Rally-X .....flicker on monitor....HELP!!!
Post by: MAME nut on November 10, 2004, 05:08:09 pm
I've got a problem when I run Rally-X (all my other games run fine).....I get a slow rolling line that goes across the screen every couple seconds.  Is there any way to manipulate the setting to eliminate this??  ???

this is called tearing.  try setting your monitor refresh to 60hz.  If that doesn't quite do the trick, set the game so it synchs with monitor refresh.

in your mame.ini:
refresh 60

to sync a specific game to the refresh, start game like this:

mame rallyx -syncrefresh
