DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!!!
How far from Northern CA. to Toronto????
(thinks)
I know. Too far. :'(
-
damn why do i always find about these things too late--well edge if its there still, grab it and i will come get it--maybe hide it in a bush or something ;D
-
Sorry man house bound for the next few days.
-
so is garbage day wednesdays there? I shudder to think how many get dumpstered that we don't hear about--and for something like a blown fuse or something too probably :'(
-
Well, I didn't see an Asteroids cab (at ~12:30), but I did grab a Tempest cab. No marquee or monitor, but the CP is complete and the sideart is C quality.
If anyone has an interest in the boards, let me know and we'll figure out a shipping cost deal.
-
well no trade on the tempest board but i will take a few of those horsseshoes you have wedged in your nether regions ;D
Good job on the save (grumble, grumble)
-
I might be interested. PM sent.

I have an empty Asteroids cabinet (previously converted to Wardner) that I'm willing to trade for something non-classic and equally empty.
If no one wants it, I'll be converting it to something really nasty after the new year.
I'm a high school teacher who teaches students how to rewire cabinets. The Asteroids cabinet is slated to be a student project, but if you have a reasonable cabinet to trade, I'm willing to send Asteroids to a good home.
Let me know if you're interested. I'm in Peterborough, about 1.5 Hours East of Toronto.
Blaine.

HUH? I don't remember "Arcade Game Repair" as a high school elective!? Damn lucky kids!
-
Hey,
If you want to sell that Tempest let me know, Or maybe we can make a trade for something you really want.
-
Communication Technology - it has a "electronics" component, which I felt could be satisfied by repairing video games. They always say to bring your own interests and abilities into the classroom. :-)

That's great. I'd think the "coolness factor" might keep the kids a little more interested. (but then again, what's cool to an old man like me might not be to these young whippersnappers!)
;D
