Anyone know what it is? Specificially the button layout.
-
I believe it is a diamond shape. Not 100% sure though.

Hope this helps: http://gear.ign.com/articles/381/381815p1.html

Thanks guys. You rock.

The real question is this..... Is this going to be for a PS2 or Xbox arcade or for a PC based cabinet? If its for the PC.... where'd you get PC based Guilty Gear? :)
-
That's odd. They don't have Dizzy on the artwork. I thought she was more of the popular ones.

I have PC based Guilty Gear XX Reload.... muha

Yeah, I just scored X and XX, that's why I'm asking.
I prefer X by a long shot.
They're japanese PC. Check this place out.

I'm curious why you prefer X by a long shot. I have X for the DC and XX for the ps2 and other than the inclusion of a few more characters, (damn that rock and roll witch), they seem more or less the same to me.
-
I have all 3, and play XX the most as it seems more polished than X with upgraded backgrounds, more music, more characters, ... I really don't like Isuka's "face" button as now you have to keep turning to face your opponent when they get behind you (really sucks for their "streets of rage" type mini-game).

The new fighters in XX are fruity and lame, and they "tightened" up the controls so much (at least in the PS2 version, the one I've played most so far) that the game feels too stiff.
We'll see if having XX on my cab changes my mind. ;D

I've never played Guilty Gear using anything but arcade controls, but I think both X and XX play equally well with arcade controls. Also, I think "fruity and lame" can probably apply to characters in either game when they consist of pirate girls fighting with dolphins and killer waitresses. However, the gameplay more than makes up for the crazy characters and although I don't really understand the characters, I think they're great too. Unfortunately, I do have a hard time convincing people to play because it is "too Japanese" for my friends.
I'll pass on Isuka though, reviews were less than favorable. I'll keep on playing XX. In any case, have fun playing guilty gear.

Touche!
I hereby modify my previous statement to "fruitier and lamer."
Happy? ;D
