Title: missing samples
Post by: btoddkelley on November 06, 2004, 09:39:55 am
I recently downloaded a data file from the clrmame pro site to check my samples. There are five sets that I do not have that are not available on the official mame site or twisty's site. Any idea where to get them? They are Barrier, Boxing bugs, Speed Freak, Star hawk and War of the Worlds.

Thanks
Todd

I havent been able to find these either. Someone posted 'dummy' sets on alt.binaries.emulators.mame, but there must be real sets out there somewhere...

I wonder if the code has been added but the samples have not yet been created.

Unless it they were added recently none of those games have sample sets.

Someone was working on some faked samples for StarHawk, but I don't know if they ever finished them.

The samples don't exist yet. But if you want ClrMame to come up "clean", get the 0.88 samples DAT zip file on the ClrMamePro site.  It comes with a blank WAV file.

You can use this file to rebuild your samples set and replace the missing samples with the blank WAV file as a placeholder until the real samples show up.
