When google ads fairly regularly links to websites that sell roms on DVDs.

If you spot one let me know the details? I have at least one of those blocked from my Google Ads list, and can/will block more as I know about them.

That's the one I got beaten down for commenting on before. Someone linked to that site, and I complained because it had ROMs on it.

Another one spotted.
Advert reads.
Mame Arcade Roms
Get $500 for Mame Arcade Roms absolutely free. Aff.
Link itself forwards to the unrelated lying spam website

That one is still at the top of a large percentage of the pages.
Can you filter the words ROM and DVD altogether, as I can't TRULY think of a legit advertisement related to our hobby that would use either word.

I am also unsure about how you feel about your book being offered as a "free gift" by a spam website. I registered a new email address, went through all the hoops, carefully opting out of EVERYTHING, carefully selecting not to sign up for ANYTHING. Then at the end it forces you to sign up for SOMETHING to get your free gift. So I did the GM Mastercard application since it didn't cost anything and didn't require me to give out my own credit card number.
At this point you go back to the website and realize that there IS no NEXT STEP at all. The entire process ends at the page with the affiliate links (one of which you MUST apparently sign up for), but there is no where to go to complete the process.
I also started receiving spam at this new email address within minutes after going through this process, and I severely DOUBT I will be getting my free copy of your book anytime soon.

Whee, I clicked through on another advert offering me a free $500 for mame roms AFF.
The website it brought me to had nothing to do with mame, nor did it offer me any money, but it apparently wanted me to be a PRODUCT TESTER.
I was prompted to enter my zip code to see if they needed product testers in my area. I entered boner.
Congratulations! We are accepting new members in boner!
Was the results. I didn't take it any further than that, but there were links to columbia house, aol, and video professor at the bottom, never a good sign.

http://www.allmyroms.com/freemameroms.htm
A google ad for that one is fairly frequent now.

On my site? www.allmyroms.com is on my ban list. Mmmmmmm. Wonder if I have to ban the specific url?

Still showing up in google ads here.

Just a noob suggestion, but how about editting the names/links out once you blacklist them?
A lot of good the "A lot of good the "no rom links" rule does" post does, when it becomes a one-stop source for all the rom links you need.
