No, not another thread asking what the best shoot em up game is. Just me saying thanks to all of you on this forum for mentioning DoDonPachi, which I have decided is the absolute best shoot em up ever.
I never heard of it until I saw it mentioned here, and I tried it out for the first time last weekend. I've played it 3-4 hours daily since!!
It's great to discover new games every once in a while to breathe new life into your cabinet. ;D

DoDonPachi is great. What is your highscore? Mine is 16 mil. The really good players get insane amounts. Also, there are quite a few fun shmups in mame. If you are interested in more SHMUPS you should check out http://www.shmups.com/ (http://www.shmups.com/)

Well, I've only managed about 5 mil, but I never claimed to be good at shmups. It doesn't make it any less fun!! :D
