Title: BYO Cocktail Underlay
Post by: lcddream on November 04, 2004, 07:05:26 pm
Hey,

I have a large format printer...ie for blueprints. It a HP 1050c. Basically I want to print my own underlays for my cocktail arcade...maybe swicth the artwork once a month :)

anyway i've looked into it and it seems the best way to print this stuff is on a Film...the basically which films can be printed by my printer which winds up being a 5 mil single matte propelyne (i think) film.

The way i see this happening is reverse-print the art work onto the film. Then use a peel off laminate to seal the print. (I dont have nor can i afford this project a laminating machine.
The laminate is 3 mil i think. Will the 8 total mil be thick enough for a cocktail underlay??

Has anyone else used the same proceure? I would love to hear any ideas on this topic....as I have never attempted anything like this before. Pitfalls? etc....please any input will help me.

Thanks,

Chris
