I cant get anything on screen at all. I managed to get the startup screen the first time and got a keyboard error(wrong port) and a floppy error(no floppy). But after I turned it off, then on, I get nothing on screen. The video card is good as I checked it on this machine, it reads the dvd, and seems to read the HD. I even tryed 2 different moniters and nothing. I am at a loss. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

First, start by removing everything from the mb except the memory and processor...unplug all drives
If it boots, there is a good chance that something was plugged in backwards...or is faulty
If it still does not boot, remove the cmos battery (thin watch battery) and unplug the power supply. Wait 5 minutes and put the battery back, plug in the ps and try it again.
Let us know what happens...

Clear the cmos jumper, check your fan,and check your monitor connection.
Somethin similer happend to me couple of days ago.Lot of people posted to help(thanks everyone).
If everything fails, then i'd say the cpu is fried.Same happend to me.Fan was still workin and in place.
Just like yours, nothin on my monitor. So i just ordered a new cpu.
Sorry to inform you but at least i am trying to tell what might have happend :)

I originally bought this motherboard for my machine. I could not get ANYTHING to ever appear on screen. Tried two CPU's, three video cards, two power supplies, two dimms, even replaced the motherboard with another one of the same make. Nothing. I've put a billion computers together and was just baffled at this. I eventually just got another motherboard.

Well It still wont show anything on screen. I unplugged all the all the drives, took out the video card, and it powers up, So I tryed it with the video card and got nothing. I took out the battery for nearly 4 hours(During lunch) and nothing. I reset the cmos, nothing. I tryed 3 different sticks of ram all in different slots too. Yesterday I couldnt get it to show anything on screen till I put in a hd, and thats when I got the keyboard and floppy errors. But now with or without the hd I get nothing. I'm at a loss. Any other idea's?

Forget the problem...I'm just wondering where can I find a job that gives me 4 hours for Lunch :)...Let me in the secret and I buy you a new MOBO.

Heh, I wasnt on lunch for 4 hours. Just one, But I left the battery out for 4 hours while I was at work. ;)
Since the cpu is fried, does anyone know some place where I can buy a AMD Slot A motherboard? The cpu that looks sorta like a super nintendo cart... 900mhz Athlon T-bird.

dude...your cpu is busted not the motherboard.

Thanks for the link. I dont think its the mother board either, but I have a slot A cpu that I know is good, so I figured it might be cheaper to buy mb and just send the other one back. (It was a combo MB and CPU) I've read a few reviews on the board itself while looking for possible solutions I found that and alot of people have been having problems with it...
That link helped me find a Barebones PC with an Athlon XP 1600 for $104!
Thats cheaper then the the $139 I paid for the MB and CPU combo.
;D You the man SNAAAKE ! ;D
