Hey guys, I am not sure if anyone else has tried this, or is having the same problem that I have, but here it goes. I have configured Mamewah to switch between an IPC file for the frontend itself, MAME, and my PC games. It works flawlessly between MAME and Mamewah, but when it comes to the PC games, it does not want to work! All the settings seem to be correct, I've checked them over a bunch of times. I also tried to correct this by using the built in APP launcher, but it will not accept the command to launch winipac either. Could there be any way that someone could try this out to check if it is a problem on my end or the frontend? The program is great by the way, nothing else is going in my cab! (You can check the progress of it in the project announcements sec)
Thanks again for the good work, Fred.

If I am not mistaken you have to set up an ipc file for each individual pc game. I had it working awhile back and I remember having to do this.

And would you run them using a .bat file or something, or set up every pc game as a different emulator?
Thanks for the help!

Hey MinWah, thanks for the reply. Sorry if I confused you there, but I am not having problems launching the games itself, it just seems that Mamewah will not switch to the "PC Games" .IPC file that I have it set for. The IPC file switching works fine for all the other emulators and for the Mamewah program itself, but it does not want to switch IPC's once I launch a PC game.
Thanks again for all the help, Fred.

Ah ok...
Edit your \mamewah\ini pcgames.ini and set:
ipc_file_or_path c:\pcipc (or whatever)
In this folder (c:\pcipc) you need an IPC file for each game you want to run - it should be named the same as the games shortcut, eg 'Mortal Kombat 4.lnk' would require 'c:\pcipc\Mortal Kombat 4.ipc'.
Also remember to set 'mamewah_ipc_file' in \mamewah\mamewah.ini - this should point to the IPC you need to control the fe, eg 'c:\mamewah\mamewah.ipc'.

I really appreciate your help MinWah, I will try it out as soon as I get home. Keep up the good work!
Thanks again, Fred.
