Title: Changing Resolution Problems
Post by: Josh on October 31, 2004, 06:35:41 am
I believe that my problem is screen resolution related.  It is currently set to 800x600 and I want it set to 640x480 I think.

When I go to change it I only get a choice of 800x600 or 1024x768

How can I get it to show 640x480?

Thanks for any help you can provide

There is a program called "Power Strip", which can change the size of the screen , bypassing the windows files.
Please be careful not to damage your graphics card!, usualy, if it only has that option, thats the only thing it can do!, ( your monitor is the most important thing! ) , and just out of interest, you can buy a special card from Ultimarc that will make the monitor work safely.

No, powerstrip is overkill for what you need.

Go to display properties, click advanced,  select the adapter tab, then click on list all modes then select 640x480x24 or 32.
