I recently purchased a cab at an auction that is a world class bowling game. It did not fire up at the auction so I got it for $120. Today is the first time that I had a chance to mess with it. I noticed that the top of the power supply was unscrewed from the unit. So I reconnected the fan and tried starting her up. After a few failed attempts it just STARTED WORKING. And I had enough time to make a few adjustments and play a few games until it started messing up. I was in the middle of a game and the screen would go black with the words "World Class Bowling System Status OK" and then it would return me back to the game. But now it just constantly shows that screen and it shows about 1ms of the game then reboots over and over. Does this sound like a power supply issue? I needs lots 'o' help. Thank you. -betacrash

I would check the power supply. My cousin had a cab that was messing up when he got it, garbled graphics and rebooting. Turned out that the power suppy was turning out .5 volts less than it sould of. Also clean all the connections to the pcb. Even try unplugging them and plugging them back in. If this fails, get another Jamma board and try that out. You might have some bad roms.
Hope this helps.

Yeah, start with a new PS, just because, they're only $20 or so including shipping from bob roberts or ebay, Might as well go with the cheapest and easiest possible solution first.

Better yet, if you don't already have one, spend the $20 on a multimeter first. Then you can check all the voltages to ensure that you don't have a toasted power supply. Most power supplies have an adjustment for the 5v line, your supply may only need to be adjusted.

MULTIMETER!!!
Don't replace something that you don't know to be faulty yet.
