Title: Where to find shallow pushbuttons?
Post by: Sasquatch! on October 28, 2004, 09:56:22 pm
I'm looking for full-width (preferably) pushbuttons that have a very shallow depth.  I see these:

But is that all there is?

I'd never noticed those at Happ's website before...  Looking at the nut and switch, they look suspiciously like Sanwa 24mm buttons - anyone happen to know if they actually are Sanwa or just Sanwa-esque?

If you want larger-diameter buttons, 30mm Sanwa buttons are actually a little shorter than standard 1 1/8" Happ buttons (7/8" shorter, including switches and contacts)...  You can get them from http://www.himuragames.com

not sanwa, very sanwa'esque though, right down to the low profile and small sized dissconects.
sanwa's do not thread in, they pop in, and do so in a destructive manner. As such they can only be placed once. once installed, the button is essentially useless after that.
