The nintendo ds will sell for $150 and the Sony PSP is gonna sell for $190 in Japan, so somewhere around that in the US , im sure.
The DS will be released on Nov 21st
The sony is being released in early December in Japan....possible release just before christmas in the US

I intend to get both eventually, depending on where the go of course. I figure that I'll wait until mod chips and emulation are big with them. :) I can't wait to see some of the things people come up with!
-
I'll pass on both. The PSP just doesn't seem that interesting, and I still haven't seen a "killer app" for the Nintendo DS.
-
Both for sure!
I love my GBA and can't wait for Sony to go portable.
What would we do without videogames?
-
Will probably get the DS and possibly pick up the PSP later on (once the price drops some).
-
i may get the DS, but the PSP's battery life is only at 4-6 hours! geez...no way im getting that crap.
-
i thought 4-6 hours was good with all the stuff they are putting in there...?
i can see the DS being more of a hi tech portable PDA...more of a reason i would get one of those...
-
well i think the technology for the psp is a little too ahead of its time. yes its got great graphics and stuff, but if i can only game for 4 hours and then have to recharge...its not much of a portable device now is it? 10 hours should be the minimum. thats a good long road trip and back, and maybe some time in between for kids or for when my wife drives ;D

i just dont get the nintendo handheld..
two monitors...WHY>
it just seesm like such a waste. wouldnt that money have been better spent giving it more horsepower under the hood, or put twords supplying a larger main monitor..
i mean honoestly , how many games are going ot have osmehtig usefull to display on two monitors..
it looks like a big mistake, almost like an internal memo joke that got out of hand..

I don't think I'll get either... never been much of a hand held game fan.
