Title: SFA3 / Total Arcade Time (not a gameplay question)
Post by: iamnaeth on October 28, 2004, 02:50:38 pm
Hi all, after doing a little research at gamewinners.com about SFA3 for the arcade, I discovered that a whole mess of other modes and hidden fighters are available.  Unfortunately, they all state that "This may only been enabled on a machine that has been active over one month, with a blue title screen background."  So my questions to you guys is this:

When I exit the game and come back in, is my total arcade time reset?  When I go into the service menu, I see that it keeps track of the total number of coins in the machine however, I don't see a total gameplay time.

Is there anyway to manually edit the time on the machine?  For example, a file that I can edit and say, this machine has been on XX hours.

Thanks all!

you need an eprom saved/hacked to display the appropriate time.... do a search for "street fighter alpha mame cheats" on google

Or you can use use cheat.dat which should do the same thing

is there anything you don't know Howard?  I was able, using the cheat.dat, to select the different fighting modes however, the hidden characters were still locked.  If I find this hacked eprom, what do I do with it?  Sorry, don't really understand what you meant.
