Title: How do I check FPS in Mame?
Post by: LeedsFan on October 28, 2004, 01:00:02 pm
Is there a way to check the FPS performance of Mame games?  I'm currently using Mame32 but I've just got hold of another PC for my cabinet project. I'd like to run some tests before putting the machine in the cab to see if any newer 90s games will struggle. I'd also like to check the CHD games as well, though I'm well aware that a lot of them won't work even on the best systems.

Oh.... the PC in question is an 800 MHz Duron with 512 Mb of Ram. I was thinking of upgrading the processor..... not for Mame but for Windows XP as this is the OS I intend to install. I know that Mame with all my favourite classics will be fine with this system.

If you had checked "Input (general)" you would have seen that it's the 9th controll listed and is F11...

You should at least try to find the answer before asking!

Hey Leeds...

Don't worry about it....some people here haven't learned that if they can't say something nicely...they shouldn't say anything at all !!
