I haven't started yet, but I know a couple of you have done it before.
Any tips on dissassembly? Is there a trick to taking off the spinner knob. It seems to have a ball bearing where I'd assume a little hex locking screw would be...
Thanks in advance!

sorry to be annoying but *bump*

Just take out all the screws to take the unit apart. I haven't taken the spinner out of mine (yet). I think the silver "bump" is probably a rod that goes through a hole in the shaft.

I've disassembled mine and installed into a control panel minus the joystick. It works great. Make sure you drill the correct size hole for the plastic guide that is under the spinner knob. Also, I ended up thinning the panel slightly on the underside with a router to get the correct thickness. The logic board and IR light sensor needs to be mounted as well. To get the knob off, you need to pull the set pin. I can't remember if it was held in place with locktite, but mine is just a friction fit now.
