I don't think they are Happ sticks...Happ ones use a dust washer at the bottom, and I don't think the bottom of the shaft is like that.  I'm not 100% sure tho.

Not worth much I wouldnt've said...depends how badly you want some topfires!

Edit: looks more like the type which GroovyGameGear sells: http://www.groovygamegear.com/cgi/surfshop/shop.cgi?ud=VFlCTUlVMUhRMyUlJSUlJTEwOTg4ODcwMDMA&storeid=1&cols=1&categories=0029&&c=detail.htm&itemid=ATOPFIRE001

now you mention it it looks like would be difficult to mount in wood CP. need to get mounting plate like one on groovy gear (works like happs trackball mounting plate).

True, you could probably make your own pretty easily tho.  Get a metal hole punch the correct size and your set...

Looks like the pic is from ebay - would you get the whole lot?  If so, just use the metal mounting plate already being used :) (Edit: if it is big enough around the edges, hard to tell...)

yes ebay starting price of 25 quid for 4 of them

beginning to dont think there arent enough games requiring topfire to warrant it

what else other than battlezone? - which really isnt all that as games go

That's OK if you can sell a couple after - I wouldn't pay much/any more than that tho.

Well I don't have one and don't really miss it.  I expect there are a couple I'd like to play tho - there is another thread going on with this discussed in it...

(ducks)  :o

BTW do you know if those sticks are 4 or 8-way?

not sure if 4/8 way.

come on...battlezone was groundbreaking in 1980 and ok now for quick go but really doesnt have enough game play for my liking.

without a periscope to peer though it just seems plain boring really.

is that contraversial enough?  ;)
