So I guess he won't be smiling & waving at the Bush supporters anymore.

How can the Bush administration be responciable for something that they didn't make the call on? (I'm willing to bet that nobody in the administration ade the call on security arraignments for a graduation ceremony. They have much bigger considerations to handle)
I see nothing in what you posted that specifically names the Bush administration, only the "US-lead coalition". It also doesn't say that the Bush administration "can't handle it", only that the "US-led coalition" was "greatly negligent" in this particular incident.
The two statements are a far cry from each other.
-
That's a bit lame, he blames people and then doesn't explain why.
-
I'm also starting to have a tendency to lump msnbc in with CBS and Dan Rather, although I think it's perfectly ok to post biased articles ;D
-
What I don't understand is why there are 50 soldiers that just "graduated", running around without any guns? With no type of escort. Doesn't make any sense to me. Either they can protect themselves (give them guns) or they can't (escort them).
-
This is inane.
Whats next?
-Iraqi woman gets hangnail - Bush is blamed!
-American soldier stubs toe - critics blame Bush!
-Terrorists decide to film beheadings in digital video - Bush ties to industry questioned!
-

Mebbe they were "progressives" who thought they could talk their way out of conflict. ::)

More likely they were conservatives going to a strip club (they couldn't cary their guns because they need to carry their beer with them).

You forget, since we've gotten so filthy rich off the backs of the poor, we can afford ankle holsters, shoulder holsters, and any other holsters to hold our unnecessary firearms. We'd need them when going into the strip club, in case we need to pistol whip a bum begging for spare change at the entrance to the club.
I've got to go start my SUV and let it idle for a while.

... and how does your riches help the Iraqi recruits?
I've got to go start my SUV and let it idle for a while.
He, he, SUV's were in the news over here. In some cities the "green parties" want to forbid SUV's from parking in the city centre (I guess they got the idea from Paris, but still).

The political situation in Iraq is probably very tense for Allawi. He likely has to act tough and independent in order to get respect from his subordiantes and the iraqi people.
I wouldn't make too much of one comment. It doesn't turn the tide one way or the other.
It's the wild west out there without the central government. It would likely happen anywhere the government collapses.
It's sad to see these deaths. Hopefully the situation will resolve itself after the elections and in 5 years we can hope they can be on their own with a democratic type government.
Iraq is home to so many historical sites. It has a rich history and it could become a huge economic force on that side of the world with the proper capitalistic tendencies.
It has so much potential it's exciting. Thank President Bush for making it possible to free these people.
I hope that if mistakes were made on our end that we can learn from them and keep this from happening again. As a vet, I'm sure that our military force will adapt and change to meet the need.
After all, the US the world leader and the greatest force for good in the World.

"Barf"
That comes from the blindnig flash of realization that The US leads the world.
It's a duty we don't take lightly.
What is "CIC" ?

ever heard of global warming? Kyoto agreement? air pollution/smog?

Kyoto doesn't even follow Kyoto.
Global warming has as may people proving it's a myth as proving it's real.
Air pollution indexes in the US continue to decline.

I find it noteworthy to mention that the US is not the only country who refuses to join Kyoto.(although you'd sure think we were) I heard that Australia also refuses to sign this morining, on the radio.

Spoken like a true Bush supporter. Now where are the links to back it up (API specifically)?
Here's my arguement for global warming from:http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/warming/ (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/warming/) Click on "Graphs tell the story" for the page where the graph was taken.

"But now a shock: Canadian scientists Stephen McIntyre and Ross McKitrick have uncovered a fundamental mathematical flaw in the computer program that was used to produce the hockey stick. In his original publications of the stick, Mann purported to use a standard method known as principal component analysis, or PCA, to find the dominant features in a set of more than 70 different climate records.

Yeah! That's why I let my Chevy Suburban idle for hours on end. I figure I like it when I get in and it's all nice and warm and toasty. I want to help those from less developed countries get that same feeling, only they can't afford cars, so I figure if I belch some oil-filled smog, they can enjoy the benefits over there, but OUTSIDE! ;)
This must be what they mean when they say "compassionate conservative" ;D
-
Yeah! That's why I let my Chevy Suburban idle for hours on end.
And thats why I drive the T/A whenever its nice.
6 MPG city/8 MPG highway? Can't beat it.

Not Flawed. Notes on Canadian scientists Stephen McIntyre and Ross McKitrick (who are trying to disprove the "Hockey Stick") Upon Following TA's link at paging through the comment forum, I found an intersting quote:
"Have you checked McIntyre's academic curriculum? He didn't have one until 2004. McKitrick is even more scandalous. He is a fellow in the George Marshall Institute, which got 345,000 US$ in funding from ExxonMobil since 1998. He

It's a "feel" kind of thing....kinda like the "wind-chill index" they tout on the evening weather. ;D
Although I'd bet a wooly mammoth put out more methane than a herd of cows, and we still had that pesky ice age...perhaps I'm off in my creationist timeline though.
Wanna hear a nutjob on global warming? Find some stuff from Kent Hovind! He's a hoot...well maybe just to me...but I bet TA would find him to be a pretty good view, too!
Ya gotta like opening up the TA on the highway, that rumble...the gas smell just pouring through the vents...that just tells you it's WORKING! I can't get over how much I love that feeling every time I tromp on the gas and that big V8 gets up and GOES! Just when I'm getting up to cruising speed, those little 4-bangers are starting to develop a hitch in their giddyup!
'Mercan muscle. God it's great! 8)

Yeah, what if he's not a scientist, but he played one on TV?
or...or...or...or
no, he's not a scientist, but he did stay at a Holiday Inn.
;D
Anyone seen the new Mustang? The one that looks like the Boss 302? SWEEEEET! I only hope the catalytic converter is removable....screw the muffler, loud pipes save lives! 8) 8)

I just thought it was interesting. That quote is from the forums that branched off the article. They might all be fiendish scientist impersonators over there. ;)
The new Mustangs do look good. Please tell me there is no v6 motors allowed... I just don't understand the purpose of that.
"Hey dude, check out my 'stang. Oh yeah brotha' it's a v6 auto. watch me lay it out." - Then a neutral drop insues and 5000rpm's hit the drivetrain with a tire sizzling "chirp". Worthless.

Only because you and the rest of the christian right mafia zoned all the strip clubs into the worst part of town.
-
We're all part of the "Not in my neighborhood" coalition
donchaknow?
We DID, however, get laws on the books to enable us to have stripper poles in the bedroom, ala Tommy Lee, so as to hide our hypocrisy ;D
-
the christian right mafia
YES!! I love that term!! The images it conjures up!
Hey, buddy, you better pay us for protection. We know the "Big Man", if you know what I mean, and let's just say we can keep the fire and brimstone away from your street if we want...

After all, the US the world leader and the greatest force for good in the World.
The word 'Leader' suggests that the rest of the world follows, which it no longer does since you isolated yourselves from the UN. Give us a bell November 3 if Kerry is elected and you may be allowed play a part in the world community again.

We isolated ourselves from the world 50 years ago, and you people ended up following Hitler. We lost to many Americans cleaning up your mess then. You may choose to forget, but we wont. The world's countries are like senile old dogs with no teeth, they forget the past and need the US to keep them from sleeping in their own urine.

New on me, how pray tell did the people of Ireland, a neutral country, go goose stepping into the sunset with the Nazis??
You should look a bit closer to home for Faschist ideologies and media supression.

No Hockey this year... Oh well, another year the Leafs won't win the Stanley Cup... :D

Keep up the good work, and don't worry about that puddle of urine, someone else will take care of it.

My TA used to have a cat and then cat-back duals.
Headers and 2.5" pipes, now. Mufflers? yes, but empty.

I don't "GORE!" see what urine has "GORE!" to do with this, but at least were not scared stiff "YOU NEED HELP!" overhere that "URINE!" some terrorists might someday "GORE!" perhaps if they have the opportunity and the desire to do so given half a chance will attack us "GORE!". Besides, you seem to fail to understand "GORE!" that the US did not win that war "NEED HELP!" and also that if the world together had not won that war you would be speaking german "GORE!" right now.

The only urine in Ireland is on the Blarney Stone.
Seriously, do NOT kiss the Blarney Stone.

what the... huh? "you people"? "your mess"? where in the world is this coming from? Totally blind sided me...
We need a car thread. Might be a topic TA & I can agree on ;)

Don't you believe it! Someday soon I can see environmentalists requiring that the catalytic converter be designed to be inside the motot, somehow, and would also house some other critical part of the engine required to operate, thereby making the converter something that would HAVE to be there ;)

We work around OBDII. When that first came out it was difficult though. Cats aren't necessarily bad for performance either, I've seen some dyno results that showed test pipes actually decreased performance. Percentage wise, I'd guess that only applies to about 5-10%. I'd say most vehicles perform better without.
I have no links to back up these accusations... ;)

Your honor, the defense is dealing in hearsay and conjecture, not to mention deja vu, vertigo, claustrophobia, and gonorrhea.
Your honor, he clearly has "polemics" and requires a vaccine...perhaps a 12" needle to the area he generally speaks out of ;) ;D

Thats a good one considering Rove and Ashcrofts efforts to keep your whole nation peeing itself and living in fear. Orange alert anyone???
