Title: Need help with HAPP trackball wiring
Post by: rdagger on October 26, 2004, 01:50:53 am
I was testing a rotating cab design and I accidently pulled out the wires from the plug on my Happ 3" USB trackball. :(  The plug connects to the circuit board of the trackball  and has 4 wires: black, green, red and white.   The other end of the cable has a standard USB plug and PS/2 connector.  Does anyone know in what order the 4 wires should be connected or does anyone have any close up pictures of the 4 wire connector?  What happens if you plug it in wrong?

used to have one but its gone now....do you see any lettering on the pcb... if you see a "G" that is likely where the black (ground) wire goes

I found a wiring pinout here (http://www.directron.com/installusb.html)  and it worked.
