I just bought a DC off ebay and I'm going to hook it up to the TV in the living room for the time being. Now I know that they make a keyboard and mouse for the DC, but what I was wondering was how compatible PC keyboards and mice are with it using the adapters I've seen for sale online. What I'd really like to do is hook up one of those wireless RF keyboard/mouse combos to the adapter. Would it work without any drivers loaded? Can anyone tell me anything else about DC compatibility with devices using adapters?
Thx,

My guess is that a wireless keyboard/mouse will probably work the same as a normal k/m setup. I tried a wireless setup on my PC for about a day and couldn't stand the delayed response (even if its in milliseconds...it was noticeable). There aren't many games on the DC that use keyboard and mouse, so unless you are just planning on writing emails from your couch using the DC browser, it isn't going to be very usefull.
If you are planning on using the wireless to play Quake and Unreal on the DC, the lag in response from wireless isn't going to make these games very fun (unless you aren't very good to begin with ;D).

Thanks Dave, yeah I was thinking of using the wireless setup for websurfing, email and such from the comfort of my couch. It just seems silly to have to pull out a wired kb/mouse when I can go wireless (hopefully). =)
