Title: Mamestation II plans?
Post by: lazychump on October 20, 2004, 06:47:46 pm
Is there a mamestation II plan that's a little more detailed than the 3 pdfs on the website?

Does anyone have any other recommendations for high quality cabinet kits?

I was looking at the mamestation II and the UAII

thanks

Or you can buy Saint's book and get it for free.

The UAII plans are worth the cash (at least I think they are.)  I got the plans before they were being sold from cyberpunk and they were great!  I can only imagine they have been upgraded before they were put up for sale, so if my old-school UAII plans were great, the ones he has for sale must be outstanding.

Frankly, I was very UNimpressed with the UAII plans. a Couple measurements were wrong, and a couple others were completely missing.

The walkthrough was good, but some cuts were angled in the beginning, then got lazy towards the end and stopped being mitered/angled.

I agree.  Although I wouldn't trade my UAII cab for any other style, it took a couple tries and a couple cludges to get a couple things to fit right and look nice.

The MameRoom boards helped though and support from the author was decent enough.
