Thought I should mention this to those collectors out there. I received a notice from my isp today regarding copyrighted material being made available from my address. The offending was received from BitTorrent and regarded 2 specific roms for Mame (even though the download included more than the 2)
None of the 3 total things mentioned were completed. I am thinking I should probably go about this apologizing and saying it will not happen again, and taking appropriate measures.
Any advice and or comments are welcome.

"not that anyone should be serving or dl'ing roms off the internet that they don't own"....
Ok, that being said, I had something similar happen to me about a year ago...I'd been "helping" people out with "stuff" for several years on IRC, and received such a letter from my ISP as well... I just stopped "helping" people with that "material" and ignored the letter...Nothing more ever came of it.
just wondering if the "material" you were nabbed for happened to be a 'N*mco* title? That's who complained about me
