what are the best cards to use with mame and a WG 9200 screen?
thanks heaps!

Mame doesn't rely on the video card for ANYTHING except outputting the signal. If you have onboard video you'd be in just as good shape when it comes to using a vga monitor than if you had a $400 card.

Not really... they DO use it for hwstretching.
You should really really really consider ArcadeVGA. It outputs CGA signals and it WILL LOOK better then a standard vga signal ON THE SAME MONITOR!
Take a look at oscars monitor comparison and look at how the 9x00 with VGA video card looks like crap compared to the hacked trident.... The ArcadeVGA looks like the trident.
But its not the best for SVGA games. If you want to play todays games... Go with something that does a 8x AA... LOOKS AMAZING at 640x480 or below with 8x AA on my EYGO monitor. (radeon 9700)

what would the best bet be if I play both older games (say wonderboy) and newer games (up to mk3) ?
