For the past few years I have been getting my computer parts from www.tcwo.com. For some reason or another the place dropped off the face of the earth. I am in search of a place to replace them that has a good web page and has reasonable prices. Now I came across New Egg and Tiger Direct. Has anyone had any problems with them? Are one of these the way to go or is there a much better place to go for my computer needs? I am hopeful that www.tcwo.com returns soon since I already know what to expect. Still if it helps I am looking for CPU's and motherboards. Most of everything else I had already laying around for my cab. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

NewEgg is great.
Tiger Direct not so great. I would avoid them.

I have ordered from quite a few online places for my work and NewEgg is the best by far. Great prices with lots of shipping deals and an incredible selection. I use them almost exclusively for work and home. Can't go wrong.

go with newegg hands down. compgeeks.com has decent deals for older hardware and accessories especially.

Have built 4 PC's with parts exclusively from NewEgg, various misc parts from them....EXCELLENT EXCELLENT web site, and countless stories of EXCELLENT handling of returns/RMA's, including mine. Just a simple call, they asked a few questions (first & last name, do I have the packing list, what are the numbers on the item I'm returning, and THAT was IT!)
NewEgg also seems to run deals fairly regularly, or give you a break on bundles, and their shipping has ALWAYS been DAYS faster than they say it will....every order I've been told would arrive between 7-10 business days, and I have YET to get an order in less than 4 days, including an order placed on Friday night ~10 p.m. that arrived on Monday afternoon!
They are just a flat out excellent place to deal with.

NewEgg is 10x better than TigerDirect IMO.

I'll pipe in as well for Newegg....good on price, smooth transactions.
I will also give an attaboy to pcconnections. If it is late in the day and need something tomorrow, I can always rely on pcconnections.
Their prices are reasonable, not the best but their timeliness on delivery cannot be beat based on a primary distribution facility sharing the same hub city as Airborne Express.
I can order something at midnight (and once as late as 1:30am) with next day delivery and it will be on my desk by 9:00 am that morning.
They have pulled me out of several jams.

NewEgg is really great... you won't have a problem with them.
I'll also put a vote in for ZipZoomFly.com. they have very similar prices to NewEgg, and ship 2 day air, usually arriving quicker than a NewEgg order would. Also, for me in NJ, NewEgg has tax, so ZZF often beats NewEgg's prices.

NewEgg is awesome! Can't say enough good about them.

ZIPZOOMFLY...it might sound wierd, but i've gone to them for everything i've gotten that's computer related and their prices are great, free two day shipping and they've got just about everything you need when it comes to computers. i know alot of people suggest new egg, but just try out ZIPZOOMFLY once and you'll see the difference. their prices are just about the best on everything when you enter the shipping into it.

I've ordered from Newegg multiple times with no problems at all, and they have very fast shipping. Tigerdirect gave me some problems where they sent me the wrong motherboard and they do not deal with returns. So being that they would not take the board back(their mistake in the first place) I was out $75. So go with Newegg and forget Tigerdirect.

Newegg gets a vote.
zipzoomfly gets one.
and monarchcomputers.com gets one.
TigerDirect does not.
