Here is my delima.. I need to find a way to hook up a dollar bill accepter to the computer. I know that the bill accepter sends out small pulse tones (just like coin doors) but I don't know how many pulses it shoots out for each denomination. Here is my story.. I am starting up a small business. This is going to be a cyber cafe. Just so you know, I have very strong programming skills so the programming is not a problem. I need to figure out where I can get a bill validater that hooks up to the computer (wether is is via serial or printer port,really doesn't matter) OR I need a way to hot wire one to the keyboard kinda like you do with your mame machines (coin door).
I really need your help bad because I can not figure this out and I can not go forward with my buisness without this step. Please. I am offering a cash reward for information (proof) on how to do this. Cash reward will be $100.00 USD If this is too low, please let me know and we can work something out. If you are serious about this (and not just looking for a hack), go to the Happs website. They sell validators and PC interfaces.

This is not a cheap solution (but judging from your "reward" it looks like money isn't an issue).
