Title: WTB: Hall effect sensors
Post by: Trimoor on October 18, 2004, 04:46:14 am
I don't suppose anyone has any spare hall effect sensors lying around?
Possibly left over from a Dreamcast controller hack?

I will be using them for a super secret arcade project.
I will post a BYO guide when I finish.
Shhhh.... it's a secret. 8)

just an FYI - allelectronics.com has many random electronics parts, and most are dirt-cheap - I find all kinds of cool stuff there (it's all surplus stuff, so their inventory is constantly changing) - just thought i'd pass the resource along, since i've seen hall effect switches and sensors there in the past.

I've got an Atari Hall-Effect stick sitting here, it's complete minus the circuit board.  PM if interested.
