Title: Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars
Post by: GreenKnight37 on October 16, 2004, 05:18:05 pm
Calling all Farscape fans and sci-fi lovers!  Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars mini-series is airing tomorrow night on the Sci-Fi channel.  This continues where the series left off close to two years ago.   Yes, two years ago.

Thanks for the dedication and hard work of the fans over at SaveFarscape.com, we have gotten our show back.  Thousands of letters were mailed, thousands of e-mails sent, thousands of dollars raised to promote the television show --- all of this done solely by the fans.  Their effort brought the show back after 2 years, and this mini-series will serve as a conclusion to the four-year running series.

That's great.  No, really.  I really liked the show, and was sorry that it went off the air.

Now if someone could do that for Angel, I'd be *really* happy.  But with the way they ended the series, I doubt that will ever happen.

My fiancee loves Farscape, I just bought her all 4 seasons on DVD and she's been watching it non-stop for the last week.  And she says I'm the frelling geek!

It is/was a great show, I was surprised when it was canceled, but I'm thinking they'll probably get a movie deal somewhere along the lines.

Yeah...As much as the Angel finale sucked, I think it was sorta appropriate for the show and the characters.

If there are any Firefly fans in the audience, at least we can look forward to the feature length movie that is coming out.  There were enough DVD sales that the creator was able to talk the people into giving him the money for a movie.  So maybe that could generate interest for the show itself to return, who knows.
