Well I have my control panel, and joysticks, now I gotta attach them to the panel. I would like black, round-head screws which would look nice with the black panel.
anyone recommend where I can find some? Tried Lowes they didn't have!

Lately I have ordered my fasteners from MSC. They have a huge catalog and carry about everything. Their web site is http://www.mscdirect.com
I have placed 5 or 6 orders from them and have received every one without any problems

msddirect pulls up some BulkDomain portal web site. Are you sure the URL is correct?

I found some black screw head covers that look real nice.
Got em at Lowes.

Sorry about that, I had one letter wrong. I fixed the link

well I placed order from happscontrols for
10-24 X 1-1/2 CARRIAGE BOLT BLACK OXIDE
10-24 HEX W/SEMS BLACK OXIDE FINISH

They are carriage bolts not screws.
Look for that and maybe you'll have better luck.

I covered mine with black permanent marker... Actually did a lot of screws that i replaced that way. Pen is like a paint marker, you depress tip to make it flow. They are probably glossier than the matte finish bolts I think you're looking for, but end result looks great.

Hmm carriage bolts... well that should still work to mount joysticks, no?

That's what you'll find at the arcade, so, yes they'll work.

Thank you for the info! :) ;D

I ordered black carriage bolts from Bob Roberts. The advantage was that the bolt heads were smooth, with no raised markings, and you don't have to order a hundred at a time.
