i was just over at retroblast reading up on news and saw a little tidbit about betson imperial having a sale on monitors. someone please reply to this with some viable information so all of us can get in on the deal. here is a link to the retroblast news page:

and sorry about posting it in the main forum, but since this is a great deal and the tops arcade monitor, i wanted everyone to get the jump on it, and most people frequent the main forum. thanks everyone for the help

This is absolutely true. I ordered the same Betson monitor that was reviewed on Retroblast on 10/10. I didn't even know they were having a sale, until I got the invoice in the mail last night for $399. This post confirms the reason why it was cheaper than I thought it was going to be! Thanks for the info.
I did get stung for $180 on the shipping, though. I live in Washington state. The fact that I don't have a loading dock increased the cost of shipping a bit, I think, as they need to send out a semi-truck that has a lift gate on the back of it. Even with shipping, it was still considerably cheaper than I would have paid at Happs for the Vision Pro. They wanted $175 for shipping... I should have my monitor in hand between 12-4pm today!

i just called up to order my betson imperial 27 inch monitor and it's confirmed that they are having a sale on monitors, so call up and ask your questions and get the sale prices. These guys are pretty nice and forgiving, just tell em what you want and they'll set you up nice.

Did they happen to mention at any point how long the sale was on for? I wasn't planning on buying until early next year, but if I've got a little time I might be able to scrape up the cash...
