That's a Phantom external imput device. You can use it for digitizing models, or as a 3d input device.

I used to use one at my old work.

Hey!  You could easily add a couple of 8 ways and some buttons on the Space Race panel.. Frankenpanel here I come!!

corr! a working computer space!! two!!! kinda a holy grail....
i've never seen one of these let alone played one. anyone here ever have the priveledge? was it as bewildering as they say?
