Title: Who is watching my Gmail?

I got an email to my Gmail account today from a stranger saying "Hi, I see you've got one Gmail invite left, can I have it?".
It doesn't appear to be spam, it included all the guys business contact details (so I guess I could call and ask him, but who knows who's tapping my phone  :P).

How does this guy know how many Gmail invites I've got?
And why is the internet making me more and more paranoid?

Im thinking it was someone on this board, because you've posted in the gmail invites thread.
