Title: Pac-Man Is Rotated On Horizontal Monitor
Post by: Irrek0 on October 12, 2004, 03:40:54 pm
My Pac-Man game appears sideways on my horizontal monitor. It is the only games that appears this way. I am using Advmame with ArcadeOS  how do I change it so Pac-Man  shows vertical like the other vertical games?

  I did a search for

pacman vertical

and came up with the answer within the first 5 hits.

Thanks for your help I need to add "vertical/display_ror no" in my advmame.rc file.
I guess adding the line "vertical/diaplay-ror yes" in the advmame.rc file makes all vertical games shown sideways on a horizontal monitor. Would be good for a home-made cocktail table though.
Thanks again
Oh any ideas on how to get rolling screens on a handful of games (i.e. 1941 & Ms.Pacman) to stop rolling?

Dude, remember the whole searching tutorial we just went through in IM? Try it again, but with the search term
Pacman scroll
. Check out hit #2, then click on the title of that post to get the whole thread.

  Read it. In its entirety.

Learn to use the search feature. It wasn't put there because someone had weeks of time to waste on a good search algorithm.
