Title: Arcadeos No Sound!
Post by: Irrek0 on October 10, 2004, 01:06:38 pm
I have my arcade all set up with the exception of it having no sound. Everytime I have to go into my ArcadeOS.cfg file and sellect the sound card option to a "1" then I have sound. Everytime I restart my system ArcadeOS.cfg resets itself to "0" for the sound card option. I have saved the setting but it will not retain the save once I restart. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

I have no idea if this would work, but maybe try changing your cfg file to "read only" using the properties option?

HI Thanks I now have sound as I did what you said and changed the file to read only....one new problem not ArcadeOS does not automatically start up  when I turn on my computer now. It seems to try but then goes to windows desktop I then have to go to the GO.BAT file to start it up. Is there a setting I am missing to have it start up upon boot of my computer?
