Hey all, this is my first time posting in this section of BYOAC - I'm working on developing some sideart for my cab (here's the link to my project in project announcements so you can see what it'll be going on - http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=10;action=display;threadid=21886 )  Here's what I have worked up so far - any comments/suggestions?

I like the blend of the two images!

Two things:
I assume you noticed the small imperfection in the alien's eye?
I would not use rounded corners in the pixel blocks that shape the alien.

For the rest: I really like it  :)

yeah, i noticed the messed up eye - this is just a mockup so far anyways (must've had the eye a touch off when i grabbed it from illustrator) - I'll try making the invader w/sharp corners, too.  thanks for the feedback!

I like that idea alot.  the only thing that kind of struck me when I first looked at it is....

Its Blue on Blue and you dont really have anything that catches your eye at first.  If you maybe go with Red/orange/yellow flames and blue space invader or vise versa.  Or maybe Just maybe if you want to keep the all blue.  have one of them with the Light spectum of the Blue and the other and the dark spectum of the Blue..

Just a thought I really like the design.
