Title: eygo monitor
Post by: danron on October 07, 2004, 09:03:41 pm
I just got a  19" eygo monitor with remote,
4 knobs  of my  Remote Adjuster are broken.
is there a way to just use the monitor
with out  the remote, if not who can fix  it
or where can I buy one.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Eygo monitors are in reality Wei-Ya/Huai I Electronics monitors (www.weiya.com.tw).

You can buy the replacement pots for the broken ones from Bob Roberts.

Never, ever attempt to run monitor without it's remote adjustment board connected. Severe damage to the monitor will result.

well I called Bob Roberts,  and he didn't know to much
about monitors or the eygo monitor that I have.
he send me to Claudia Chen she handels all the oversea stuff,
still no help, they told me that they don't have any of the part I need,
so I got a pcb control board to another monitor to see if I can ues it for parts.
I had to pay  $30 for the parts and $30 to send it, got it in one week.
it came fast, well I don't know to much about pcb control boards.
try to replace the knob that did work. parts I need are a two, 10k ec knob,
and one, 20k dc knob. or a control board for 19" eygo monitor

model is : AMN19V-RB

the chassis: UCS19V

Compatible CRT: A48EYGTYPE V/ A48AGY13X57

any kind of feedback is welcome
thanks lot
