Hi,
I bought this motherboard to use with a Athlon 2100+...

However, I notice that you can get Athlon 2100+ support only if you update your BIOS.
BUT, how I could update the bios so the motheboard can work with Athlon 2100+ if I don't have a previous supported processor (Athlon 1600 for example) that I can use to turn on the computer and update the bios, and after this, insert and use Athlon 2100+ ?
Do you think that the computer can boot up with Athlon XP 2100+ attached, even with a old and unsupported bios, but just not operating at 2100 ?
Thanks.

yes. I think it will still boot but it probably won't recognise the processor and will boot at a lower speed. give it a try.
BTW, did you just buy the motherboard? If so, it probably already has the latest BIOS and shouldn't require an upgrade.
